Snooze your check-in reminder. Choose Remind Me in 15 Minutes, Remind Me in 1 Hour, or Remind Me Tomorrow. Tomorrow reminds you at your own check-in time the next day, and you can check in for both days then.

Show when a journey started. In Settings, turn on the start date for the app, for your widget, or both. It reads "Started Sep 16".

Report a problem from Settings. Write what happened, add a screenshot if you like, and leave your email if you would like a reply.

Open at login: switch it on in Settings and the app starts quietly in the tray when you sign in to Windows, so the widget, the mini window and your daily reminder keep working after a restart.

Fixed two faults that stopped the Windows 11 widget from being added. The widget's Open button now opens the app.

Opening the app while it is already running brings up the copy that is open.

Updates are checked more carefully before they install.

iPhone and iPad

On the free plan you can now save or share the photo from a finished journey, in the Journeys list. Sharing shows a preview of the photo.

A finished journey no longer shows a countdown to a check-in that is not coming.

The app asks for a rating less often, and at a better moment: after you have checked in on a few days, or when you finish a journey. It never asks on your first day or right after a missed day.

Mac

The Mac app from this website now updates itself. When a new version is ready it shows what changed, then installs it and opens again. If you have an older copy from this website, download this version once and it looks after itself from then on.

The app and your widgets now tell you when your next check-in opens and how long that is: "Opens 9:00 PM · in 4h 12m". It names the time you chose, which nothing did before, and it stays on screen after you have checked in, which is most of the day.

You can put it on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so a glance is enough. That is off until you turn it on, in Settings.

You can also choose the color of the writing that sits on your photograph. White, Cream, Charcoal or Black, whichever you can read against your own picture. Free, and it saves as you tap it.

And if you would rather not have a clock at all, you can switch the countdown off.

Share and Select work again on a finished journey.

On the Journeys screen, the two controls under each finished journey did nothing. The photograph above them was being drawn larger than the space it appears in, and the part you cannot see was sitting over both buttons and catching every tap. Saving or sharing a finished reveal, and choosing which finished journey your widget shows, both work now.

No changes. This version fixes two controls in the iPhone, iPad and Mac apps, and keeps every platform on the same version number.

The Premium screen now lists cross-platform sync, which keeps your journeys in step between Apple, Android and Windows. That has been part of Premium since August and the screen asking you to pay for it never said so.

The Backup card now describes what your own Apple devices do. It used to describe an Android phone in the same breath, which is little help when you are reading it on an iPhone or a Mac.

The Backup card used to tell you your phone backs itself up and said nothing about the machine you are reading it on. Windows has no iCloud or Google Drive to fall back on, so Premium is what keeps a copy of your journeys on a PC. The card says that now.

The widget could disagree with the app about when your next check-in opens. On the day a round rolled over it counted down to this evening while the app correctly said the next round was a day or more away, so it would have reached zero and unlocked nothing. Both now say the same thing.

And a long wait is said in days. It used to read something like "Unlocks in 216h 22m", which is true and useless.

Repeating journeys. When a round finishes, the next one starts on its own, on your next check-in day, with the same photo. Set it when you create a journey or change it any time. Premium.

Some fixes as well. Several controls in a journey's details did nothing when you tapped or clicked them: custom length, the repeat options, and the cover appearance. They open now. A countdown that read "Unlocks in 216h 22m" reads "Unlocks in 9 days". And the Premium screen was still offering to sell you the export, which has been free for everyone since August, while saying nothing about rest days.

Your widget could sit a day behind, showing yesterday's day number until something else made the app save. It now catches up on its own, and the countdown to your next check-in keeps ticking.

Rest days are here. If you train five days a week, or write on weekdays only, you can now tell your journey which days you check in. Days you take off are not missed days: nothing is expected, nothing is uncovered, and your reveal simply waits. Rest days are part of Premium.

Your widget now shows the day count and today's status again. It was drawing the photograph on its own, with the text missing.

The cover no longer gets heavier as a journey gets longer. A 90 day journey now hides as much of your photo on day one as a 7 day journey does.

One reveal style has been retired. Journeys that used it now use Petals.
