A Habitify alternative where a photo shows your progress
Habitify is one of the most complete habit trackers you can install. It runs on phones, watches, Macs, Windows PCs and the web, it can log a habit for you from a health app, and it has a data view for anyone who likes charts. People looking for a Habitify alternative usually want one of two things: a different price, or a different way of seeing progress.
This page covers both, fairly. Prices and platforms were checked on the US App Store, Google Play, the Microsoft Store and Habitify’s own site on 13 September 2026.
What Habitify does well
- Lots of habits, lots of schedules. Daily, weekly or custom repeats, reminders, notes, mood tracking and a built-in timer.
- Automatic logging, with Pro. With your permission Habitify Pro reads Apple Health, Google Health, Fitbit, Strava, Screen Time and RescueTime, so a walk or a run can check itself off.
- Room for real life. A habit can be marked done, skipped or missed, and you can pause one when life changes.
- Reach. iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch on the App Store, Android and Wear OS on Google Play, a Windows app in the Microsoft Store, and a web app. It also has an API, Siri support and friendly challenges.
If you track eight habits and want to see trends across all of them, Habitify is a strong choice and there is no reason to switch.
What Habitify costs today
Habitify is free to download. Its pricing page lists the free plan at three habits. In April 2026 it moved to three tiers, Free, Plus and Pro: its release notes describe Plus as removing the habit limit, and Pro as adding advanced insights and Apple Health sync.
The US App Store lists Habitify Plus at $29.99 a year, and Habitify Pro at $8.99 a month, $49.99 a year or $119.99 for life. The pricing page on its website still shows a single Premium plan at $2.49 a month billed yearly, or $59.99 once, so compare the price inside the app before you pay.
It holds 4.6 stars from 7,121 ratings on the App Store and 4.2 stars on Google Play, where it has passed 500,000 downloads.
How Reveal the Dream is different
Reveal the Dream tracks one goal at a time and draws it as a picture. You choose a photo of the thing you are working toward: the trip, the race, the finished kitchen. It starts covered by a frosted layer split into one piece per day of a journey. Each daily check-in uncovers one piece. You can try it on your own photo in the browser.
Miss a day and that one piece stays covered. The pieces you already uncovered stay uncovered, and there is no counter to fall back to zero. Toward the end you can see the whole photo, with a few covered patches where the hard days were.
The photo sits where you already look: a home screen widget on iPhone, iPad and Android, a widget on the Mac, the Windows 11 Widgets Board, and the Apple Watch and Wear OS apps. No account is needed. Apple devices keep your journeys in step through your own iCloud, and Android backs up through your own Google account.
| Question | Habitify | Reveal the Dream |
|---|---|---|
| Built around | A list of habits with charts, calendars and streaks | One photo of one goal, split into a piece per day |
| A missed day | A habit can be marked done, skipped or missed, alongside streaks and completion history | That day’s piece stays covered. Everything already uncovered stays. |
| Free plan | Three habits, per Habitify’s pricing page | One journey at a time, 7 or 30 days, the widget and the watch app, with no time limit |
| Paid, in the App Store | Plus $29.99 a year. Pro $8.99 a month, $49.99 a year or $119.99 once. | Premium $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year. $7.99 or $59.99 buying direct. |
| Platforms | iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android, Wear OS, Windows and the web | iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Android, Wear OS and Windows |
| Logging | With Pro, logs automatically from Apple Health, Google Health, Fitbit, Strava, Screen Time and RescueTime | You check in yourself, once a day |
When to pick which
Stay with Habitify if you want many habits in one list, automatic logging from health and fitness apps with Pro, a web app, or detailed statistics.
Try Reveal the Dream if one goal matters more to you than a checklist, if you want a picture of that goal in view all day, or if a broken streak has made you give up on a tracker before. The free version has no time limit. Premium adds several journeys at once, custom lengths, rest days, App Lock and sync between Apple, Android and Windows.
Plenty of people will do best with both: Habitify for the daily list, and one photo for the goal the list is for.
