Grit is one of the most popular habit trackers on the App Store. It holds 4.8 stars from 15,902 ratings in the US and appears in the top ten results for “habit tracker”. It is polished and made for Apple devices, and its latest version arrived on 18 September 2026.

Grit on Android and Windows

Grit runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, synced through iCloud, and its latest version needs iOS 26. Its website lists iOS, macOS and watchOS, and there is no Android or Windows version.

How Reveal the Dream is different

Reveal the Dream has no streak. You pick a photo of one goal, choose a journey of 7 or 30 days, and the photo starts covered in one piece per day. Each check-in uncovers a piece.

Miss a day and that piece stays covered. Every piece you already earned stays uncovered, and the next day carries on as normal. When to pick which

Stay with Grit if you use only Apple devices, you track several habits, and you want habits that complete themselves from Apple Health.

Try Reveal the Dream if you need Android, Wear OS or Windows, or if one goal matters more than a list. The free version has no time limit.
